A Disney thing. Seems to be available to torrent. Good scores on Rotten. As Mashable article puts it:

‘Owl House’ is a perfect pick for a Halloween binge ... there’s plenty for kids of all ages to enjoy.

When I think Disney I think Cinderella syndrome. Maybe this is kind of anti-Cinderella?

Recently, Disney has been producing quite a few good cartoons: Gravity falls is god tier, Amphibia is really good too (although slightly less enjoyable because it's for younger audiences imo), and owl house (which I've been binging all afternoon >.< ).

All three have positive female leads.

TIL alex hirsh was also half the male cast of gravity falls. Alex and Dana (GF and TOH creators) are also dating.
