Not looking for explicitly anarchist stuff but I always enjoy media that kinda reminds me of my beliefs and portray some elements of a life I want to live. Not condoning characters actions or saying it's what I want to do.

I.e. media often is popular as it portrays far more enjoyable lives this just so happens to be representations of characters living anarchist adjacent lifestyles. From anti work, anti government, being free from working a regular job, tight nit relationships with people that help each other out, mutual aid, illegalism, hedonistic activity, going on adventure, just trying to have fun, be free from societal pressures, work and government while still helping others.

Idk, media with these elements helps inspire me a bit to pursue my goals when things aren't going great. As I often have to rely on fiction to see examples of my goals in life as most people don't live lives I can ish it immitate and don't value many of the things I like. If people could get the vibe I'm suggesting and give me examples that would be great.

Cowboy Bebop: People who are working together and helping each other out as they work towards their individual goals but working together to pursue their own personal gains. Living a vagabond life with limited control from governments and bosses. A lot is lost due to them being bounty hunters but it reminded me a lot of what I would like anarchist relationships to be like and a life more enjoyable to pursue than the status quo. Also they are neutral on law and are fine with breaking the law for their own personal benefit

Rick and Morty: Main character devises methods to subvert being controlled by government, lives a life free of work, lives a pretty egoist themed illegality life. Trying to live a life free to pursue ones goals by not being reliant on working and hiding or fighting off governments who seek to control him. Lives a hedonistic immoral life.

Adventure time: two friends / brothers who try to make the world a better place by themself while also being free and having adventures. I got really big mutual aid mixed with anti work themes of the two helping others while having fun.

Tuca and bertie: idk what it was but tuca was pretty cool to watch. She seemed to really value trying to get away from being crushed by the boot of society to live a fun free life while still taking the time to help her friends.

TMNT: Illegality heavily discriminated against minorities commiting crime to make the world better and creating tight bit relationships with those they care about and trust to help each other. Strong anti work mutual aid themes. Tho the who vigilante punishment thing is annoying.

It's writing but Margret killjoy has some great anarchist fiction and Moxie marlinespike has some great stories from real life. The same is true form the blog the transmelpolitan review, crimthic and the book evasion.

One piece : illegalist, anti government, mutual aid, comradmenship, anti work, adventures, freedom ect.

I think Doctor Who has anarchist adjacent elements. Especially in terms of the companions who are leave their lives for something more exciting and adventurous (Donna Nobles arc especially I think). Forming tight knit, non traditional relationship structures. The themes surrounding the cybermen and daleks.

Farscape. Multiple people on the ship were anarchists and escaped convicts and they all fought authority together (the peacekeepers).

I'm glad u mentioned this show. I just started watching it and have been really enjoying it. The anarchisty bits really helped kick the brief slump I've been in du to projects being way more a pain in the ass than I hoped.

Doom Patrol maybe. They fight an institution called the bureau of normalcy.

These are video games but FFXIII and FFXIII-2. Can't really say much on those without giving it away.
