There is no strength in flesh, only weakness.

Not sure what you are talking about
He talks about old hardware and capacitor and batteries spilling chemicals on boards, about vinegar syndrome and a couple of material vice in tech from the 90 and 00.
It's most about planned obsolescence

Irony: vintage tech article on a video site that requires much better internet than I have to play it, with no links to a transcript.
Clickbait that answers itself.

From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine. Your kind cling to your flesh as if it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved.
For the Machine is Immortal

this kind of thinking is part of why the wealthy are not too concerned about how destroying the world (with their continued greed) will affect their own future generations. all problems will be solved by technology.

In the future everyone will wear reflective chrome outfits to increase the albedo of the planet… ever wondered why everyone was always dressed in silver in science fiction?

Yeah those are literally the only ways. Not careful deindustrialization over a few decades. Not ending an economic system in pursuit of infinite profit. No way. I know its too late anyway but whatever.

Reply to comment by !deleted8205 in Chicago Jurors Shown Animated Version of Shooting in Police Murder Trial by videl
I think they are trying this sort of "expert opinion" bullshit to construe the reality of the situation. The animation was created by a special 3D forensic firm. So the lawyers get to present this false version of reality by saying it comes from this authoritative firm using cutting edge tech while also preying on the jurors' technofetishism or scientism or whatever you want to call it.
