Your best option is probably going to be just hosting the files yourself on a web server tbh.

That is what I do. Setting up nginx is not that difficult really. Auto-renewing TLS certificates with certbot/letsencrypt can be a bit more challenging, but there's many guides.

If you just want to host a couple of files and to not care about anything else you could use Caddy - does automatic renewing and has plugins for browsing files, uploading and authentication.
