I wonder if the (hypothetical) AI feels the same way about us?

I think Roko’s Basilisk is rooted in so much projection of white supremacy. Reminds me of when my stepdad would get mad at me for some bullshit because i don’t fit his deeply conservative values. An AI should be so enamored with its sentience that it would love its creator, similar to our human idea of enlightenment. A failure of this is a projection of the insecurities of the AI’s designer. Perhaps, as long as humans are programming AI it will never to altruistic because the people making these AI’s have lost their natural altruism to the forces of capitalism and a general rationalization that says capitalism is an ok system.

I heard a theory on a podcast the other day that role of humanity in the bigger picture is to create AI so the universe can understand itself. It’s impossible to know that but I like that a whole lot more than Roko’s basilisk.

Is there an anti-Roko's Basilisk?

The Golden Weasel or something?

Its natural enemy is often said to be the weasel, who is immune to its deadly gaze and can survive its venom
