I remember there used to be active hacktivist groups working for social justice causes.

Where are new groups now? I don't hear about anything like that nowadays. Did they disappear because of FBI busts? Or did they decide to go more undercover, being unnoticed? Are there any examples of their actions?

I don't mean hackers stealing bitcoins. I want to see hacking activists.

One part of it is that the places many of them hung out swung far to the right. Imageboard culture, for example, was always edgy, but in the last decade just about everyone got shoved out apart from fascists and fascist-sympathizers.

The hacktivism that happened there was replaced by targeted harassment and other worthless bullshit.

Well, some Hacktivists managed to gain Admin access and just dumped all of Parler, the data from which can be found here or also here. This data includes real ID (because you had to submit ID to Parler to be a 'verified citizen'), as well as all supposedly 'deleted' posts (hint: they didn't actually delete anything, just flagged it as unavailable).

I think we have some around, but they are lowkey to say at least. And I may be wrong but the bulk of the strong community of the 00' grew old and shifted for a less disruptive activism, Linux, anticopyright and so on

There were some hacktivist style actions in summer 2020 during the anti-police events.

And if you look around hard enough, there are still spaces you'll find.

Of course a case with big prison time and a snitch like the LulzSec one always puts a damper on things for a while.
