While I'd love to be using one of those browsers with vim-keybindings, I am just not into the run whatever code any page throws in your direction-style web and wouldn't be able to use anything that doens't have uMatrix-like functionality.

Sure, you can use a hosts-file but sometimes well meaning pages, especially newspapers, come with so much junk JavaScript beyond just the ads, like Salon.com with its cryptominer.

Totally agree with you ! Tridactyl on Firefox or derived do a great job to bring vim-keybinding to the browser.
