I've been hoping to find a way to bypass paywalls on sites like The NY Times, The Atlantic, The Medium, etc. I tried downloading an app suggested in another thread on this fine messageboard, but I couldn't get it to work. So I came here to see if anybody could help me out.

Sometimes a “reading mode” bypasses it if you have it on your browser. It also works to interrupt the page as it is loading, as paywalls may often load later than the article itself. Otherwise, you can try to dig into the HTML and delete the offending elements.
