Hello, i'm searching a laptop where i can install QubesOs. So the laptop shouldn't have an OS preinstalled. I have thought that the laptop should have 8 GB RAM and at least 2.5 GHz. I prefer a HDD over a SSD but there could be also both installed. 512 GB of storage should be enough, but 1 TB wouldn't be bad. Maby the laptop should have a hardware protection if possible. The price should be between 250$ and 500$.

Can you recommend me something?

Thanks in advice :)

You may want to search for recommendations on r/Qubes. I read through the specs that Qubes recommends, and I'm pretty sure most newer Intel machines have VT-x, VT-d, and TPM support, but there may be more obscure issues with fickle hardware that make some motherboard line or other more ideal.

Ram is what you need...I'm running 32g's and it's pretty seamless, but I wouldn't want to be running any less to be honest,
