Imo this is Varoufakis attempt to update Marxism (or at least to create a new left unity) to a contemporary setting. I only posted bc I rarely see discussions on a pratical level about how the theoretical socialist proposals will work and how they will do with the present issues. They (diem25) are very Žižekian to assume an unified socialist eurocentric govt is desirable.

I thinks their point is to have control mechanisms (bureaucracy) to prevent the issues of monopoly and manipulation. Again, Marxism without the old stench and a new Progressive-Liberal perfume. Not my cup of tea, but hey who am I to say anything.

I am trying to start his book Another Now, bc in his fiction he proposed something similar to the wallstreetbets actions before it happened.

I agree, control mechanisms are very cursed, which gets towards my workerist strand of thought.

It isn't Ultra-Luddite like the admins, more like to have a better understanding of human control over objects lest they accuse me of being racist to robots(which I am).

You get computers that are advanced enough to understand us, but it could never operate without our input. Radical Technological autonomy as proposed by "the singularity" should never come to be or else it will eliminate democracy and human autonomy. However such a thing could be the path of Capitalism.
