Google reviews

Submitted by Amberzey in Shoplifting

I know that I can't be the only one who looks at Google reviews for customer photos of the inside of a store that I've never been to for the purpose of getting a feel of where obvious cameras are... for instance I just looked up field and stream and people submitted pics because it's a new store here. Was able to see 5 cameras in their pics of the front of the shop.

Google is an excellent source for lifting-

Not only is it handy for scoping out the store layout and cam situation, but it's also useful to see when stores are at their slowest and busiest.

I was going to mention the same thing. Always look up the busiest time of day, and some advanced scouting via the in store photos always helps. I usually do a recon visit a few days before a big lift though. Helps to read some reviews of the store too and pick up some names so you can chat with someone like you know them. I have literally walked out with a cart full of stuff while talking with an associate I had talked to previously in the store. He was just getting off his shift for the day.
