Will do!

Lifting at supermarkets like Aldi, Rewe, Edeka and so on has been amusingly easy. Seems that cameras are largely unmonitored, and security seems to be used mostly for kicking out homeless/loitering people and intimidating would-be lifters.

I've been scoping out Media Markt and Saturn for lifting electronics and they also seem quite easy. Nabbed myself a instax mini and some film from a Saturn on a weekend with no issues.

Hope this might help a bit.

Those are the stores I've been thinking about as well. my local aldi is a legit fort for some reason, no blind spots whatsoever, it's a really small store and they have the fance dome cameras all over the place. I recently tried to snag something at rewe, thought i had a blind spot and just as i pocket the item there's an announcement in the store for someone to show up at the entrace hall.

probably just coincidence, but it scared me so I put the stuff back and left :D

Lol :D

It's better to be paranoid than too confident!

Aldis all seem to have this super linear setup with domes that can see EVERYWHERE.I lift at multiple Rewes regularly with no problems though. Just use shelves as blind spots and watch out for customers/employees!

I use a basket as if I'm shopping regularly, putting in decoys (that I intend to buy or put back) and items that I want to lift. Then I simply go to an empty aisle and conceal using the shelf and my own body to create a blind spot. :)

successfully executed my first lift at rewe today, my local store has a huge section just for beverages so i essentially hid completely in between 10 foot stacks of water crates and it went pretty easy,

yeah no dice at aldi, not even gonna try

Dude, nice! Rewe is super easy. I'm glad to hear it went well. :D

It's funny, I often use the beverage section at my local Rewe for the same reason.

they really don't have any cameras there because who would steal crates of water? and people can't see you when surrounded by stuff. I got a 3€ item but for now it's more the thought that counts.

Now I need to develop better ways of concealing that will allow me to get more stuff, i just carried it out in my front pocket

Since I'm a woman, I usually conceal things inside of a purse or tote bag. I don't even like using these things most of the time in my day-to-day life, but they come in handy for lifting!

I live in a city with a uni nearby so perhaps that's why... but I've seen plenty of guys walking into Rewe and other stores with messenger bags, backpacks, and laptop bags without getting sussed by employees. In the US, this is something that would normally make LP watch you like a hawk.

Anyway, that'd be one way you might be able to conceal more items.

yeah I' gonna see if I can make some backpack stuff happen, but pant pockets do well for grabbing a few small items whenever you go anyway

Oh, and although it seems that cameras aren't monitored and security/LP is a joke, I'd still obviously recommend being careful to not be seen by cameras or people.

Sleight of hand, blind spots for concealing, and even purchasing decoy items (with cash!) are all good ways to avoid being caught.
