Winter is Coming!

Submitted by thekraken in Shoplifting

And you know what that means, fellow conquerors of capitalism! Bulky clothes, and a far easier time concealing things (At least for those of us in chilly climates), AND everyone else in the store will be dressed similarly!. So get ready, break out your parkas, and use those 'Christmas Shopping' crowds to pull off some truly amazing feats of wealth redistribution and annoy the shit out of the LP goons. :D

Had some cooler weather here recently. I got a light-up cable to charge my phone, a new calculator, dental hygiene products, and even shoved a big-ass roll of toilet paper down my pants.

I've also got a tip about hitting Walmart on Black Friday, but I don't want to reveal that until it's close enough to the day that LP reading this can't alert corporate far enough in advance to change their policy in time.

I'm beyond excited. Even if it's just "light coat" weather I'd be able to get sooo much more. Our company gives us black Friday off, too, paid. So I absolutely cannot wait.

Good enough reason to take some trips to snow covered cities?

Yeah, especially closer to the Christmas holidays. It gets to be a mad-house in most of the bigger stores around those times, and everyone is in bulky everything. LP are on high alert, but really, their job is near impossible in conditions like that. I successfully walked out of a big-box store with a 40" TV on Boxing Day one year (day after Christmas in Canada, it's like our 'Black Friday') due to all the chaos. While I don't actually recommend doing THAT, concealing smaller items in similar conditions will be trivial.

Wow that's some score. I guess Black Friday over there would be a prime day for lifting?

Shit yeah it is. Too much for any LP to actually handle anything; I know one person who got out of Walmart with a fucking TV, and never got caught for it.

Yeah black Friday is like shooting fish in a barrel... The store is a complete madhouse and on top of that there are expensive items lying around that normally might be locked up or behind a counter.

It's basically impossible to stop lifting on black Friday. Normal paying customers act like greedy lifters walking around with armfuls of expensive merch... Practically every person is like

I just realised how easy it must be to lift on black Friday 😂. Whilst the LP are busy trying to stop people from almost killing each other over tv's and hair straighteners. I could be concealing masses of spider wrapped/source tagged items into a carrier bag and walking out with many people at a time. Then putting it in my car and grabbing another bag and walking back in as a new customer 😂😂😂. It's a 100% success rate really 🤣🤣🤣 Anyone actually do this?

Never multiple times but black Friday holds my personal record for highest total in one day by a loong shot. Lifting is a beautiful experience from September to the end of December

This is a post of the year candidate here. haha Just recently had a rainy day in the 60's where I'm at which means its cold enough to put on a jacket that is a bit bulky and bigger items for me to lift. Depending on the jacket, you have at least 4 or 5 pockets to conceal items into, instead of 2 or 3 that you'd have with pants or shorts. I don't have the ballz to lift with a backpack because I think it immediately draws attention to you from employees and LP, so the cold weather is when I can lift the most.

I've got a question for you guys, when you buy or lift jackets, do you check the pockets to see how easy it would be conceal items? A few months ago I bought a jacket from a thrift shop and was checking the pockets to see how good a particular jacket would be for concealing. I'm guessing a lot of you do that because it's best to plan out your methods of lifting beforehand. haha

You know it! It was raining in my city today, so went into a few shops to get things I needed. Went into JD Sports, lifted 4 sets of chunky laces (needed to replace mine and wanted some variety), 5 protein bars that I like, a decent baseball cap, and two sports bottles. Then in WH Smith I managed to lift headphones and iPhone cables!
