Any uk british shoplifters want to share tips ?

Submitted by Xela91 in Shoplifting (edited )

I have been lifting bits for years now and i am quite good at it . Items are not of high value but i am investing in a magnet and i am going to attempt the clothes stores and maybe electrical items . Maybe make some profit aswell as benefit myself from these lifts . Any tips for me ? Thanks .

UK lifter here. I always found shops like B&M, Sainsburys, Tesco, Poundland, B&Q, Homebase and some pet stores were really easy to lift from if you were after smaller things (no bigger than a hand size) which I could carry around pretending to look for something else, then easily slip it into a coat pocket. Once walked out of a Homebase with 4 superbright LED torches, a remote control switch kit, a decent knife and my favourite lift, a cactus in a pot. My method has always been to look busy or absent minded, wander around as if comparing prices and then after carrying a couple of things around, taking one back to the original spot in case someone clocked me carrying something.

Hey. Finally a British lifter here The list is from easiest to hardest to lift: Poundstretcher, Poundland, B&M, Home Bargains, Asda, Tesco, Clothes stores (I.e river island, h&m) (watch out for magnet detecting towers in these stores), Pc world/Currys Plus if you want to get more serious. I recommend going onto aliexpress and ordering an s3 key. They can't be detected by new magnet detecting technology and really are a help. To learn how to use it just go on YouTube. Hope this helps

You could put 2 things on the same hanger or if there are no cameras put it in ur bag on the shop floor then go to the dressing room & take tags off I just walk in with what I want Detag in the dressing room never leave the tags in the dressing room I chuck them in the bin or put them in the pocket of an item of clothing & put it back from were I picked it up

essentially the shoplifting strategies are same in many countries, as we use similar technology for security.Just gotta know which chains have better LP, or AP policies, and to see if the laws of your country punish more harshly.

It is hard to tell. None of the stores like asda or Tesco will have it. It's mostly stores with high value items like pc world or river island. But most of the time it's them towers which are mostly glass. You'll see them around. The best way to get past this is to use s3 key or learn to run fast

They are glass towers . Similar to the ones witch detect tags but glass. There is a thread on here describing them

Ok cool il deffo keep an eye out 4 glass towers are they all like that then? Are there any other magnets detectors (different models) apart from glass

First i read about them was on this forum . Far as i know they are the only model . But all they do is light up when you walk through with a booster bag or magnet . So store employees or lps will watch you if the notice . But still have to catch you concealing first lol
