100% Profit??

Submitted by PinkPorcelain in Shoplifting

So, when I worked at the store where they wear red and khaki and shove what you steal up your ass I was asked to be in the AP room while the undercover AP guy interviewed a female shoplifter.

Anyways, one thing he mentioned is that shoplifting/boosting is, “100% profit because they don’t pay for the stuff.”

Now I question that.

Here’s why.

You have the time it took you to go in a get the stuff.

And then if you sell online you have to pay for shipping, shipping supplies, sellers fees, etc.

Again your time handling the stuff.

Anyways, what are YOUR thoughts on this?

PS: The AP guy is cute so I sent him a FB friend rquest lol, probably won’t amount to anything but yea. I don’t work there anymore so yea.

Hell no its not fucking free and it costs me stress, time, planning, gas, and money. Its a downright business, and a business that's no different than the businesses the greedy crooks have that run this country (America) and the big corporations we steal from!

Do you think these big corporations get big making marginal profits? nah, they be robbin people yo

It kinda depends on how you look at it,in a sense the products were 100% free yes BUT I for example sell and ship items out online so right off the bat mercari takes 10% seller fee per item, plus paying for shipping and shipping supplies (I steal mine though) then gas to the stores and to fedex then finally TIME? One thing alot of people I think misunderstand how much time has to be spent if you become a larger online seller, like I'm sorta but nothing to wild but just the amount I sell I'm literally spending 2 hours a day just listing items/adjusting prices, then another 30 mins packing up items that sold and on top of that replying back to questions on my items literally 24!

its not really 100% profit, you have to do the labor of planning, like looking at which store is easier to steal, how to conceal and how much. gas money, etc. the only way you can make huge profits, if you steal large amounts at once, such as directly from a truck or something.

I mean I do count in. Gas fee. And food fee. Plus health fee lol.

I still come out better than I went in. So yay a plus for me lmao

That’s the goal!

You count the health fee in case you get any crazy LP?

Macy5 wrote

Lol. Health fee as in the adrenaline I get when I lift + nervousness xD

Ok lol.

Just stay safe I know I have heard of some LP carrying guns...

Lol. Well it’s just whatever to be honest. Whatever happens. Happens

But yeah to answer your question. It is about 100% Profit

Depending on how much you steal you can make a crazy amount of money. like 500 a day.

Yes I don’t doubt that.

But is 100% of that profit?

2

Drshoplifter wrote

It’s 90% profit. The customer pays shipping usually. I just deliver locally so I pay gas. 90% for me

You should get back into lifting. Use safe methods. I’ve been doing since I started driving at 16. I’m 25 and not once have I been stopped by lp.

Really just depends on how you resell.

In my case, I just go to where I know I'll get instant cash. Besides time and gas, there really is no cost to me.

Even if you sell online, as long as your sale is done in person, you can still avoid paying out of pocket fees.

Yes it's 100% profit. You can walk in a store, take something, walk out. Fence to friends or on craigslist. There you go, 100% profit.
