Questions about abercrombie kids/hollister/abercrombie and fitch.

Submitted by jigga3 in Shoplifting (edited )

So this is a multi-part question so bare with me as I have asked and never got clear answers from the subreddit when it was a thing.

  1. What kind of cameras does abercrombie kids employ? I only see circular black recessed ceiling lights that look like they have cameras sticking from the rim. The problem is those are facing downward so their view must be pretty limited. Otherwise, it seems as if those are not cameras then they must have none at all.

  2. If I get out of the store without getting caught, am I pretty much guaranteed that I won't ever be caught later? I found some underwear I like that comes in boxes (multi-packs) and I plan on stealing the ones that are lying in the bottom of the buckets open since those aren't tagged. I can also take the boxes too since they don't have tags but I don't know how to conceal.

  3. Lastly, what is the best method to conceal them? I'm a little older than 13 or 14 so I don't exactly want to have to use a dressing room to try stuff on. Is there an easier way? I'm thinking I can just use a shirt to cover as I pick a few pairs up and then drop them down my pants but is that too suspicious?

I'm not 14 so I don't know if that's an option to try on clothes at abercrombie kids. I look closer to 21

Yeah dressing room is the 1 that what I always do go in check the stuff u don’t wanna set alarms off for the sake of not checking then wack it in ur bag , walk out al normal don’t just bomb it to the exit looking all bait & that’s it u should be cool. Oh yeah & what ur describing sound like cameras to me in like a dome we have um over here in most places they don’t just look down & see just what’s beneath them they can move to all different angles hope that helps

Here's the thing. I KNOW what I want to steal will not set off alarms because I have already tried to steal it before.

So update: I visited Abercrombie Kids, Abercrombie and Fitch, and Hollister. Since they're the same company they have pretty much the same security. Hollister DID have dome cameras in each room but they're black to match the ceiling. No other cameras. Abercrombie kids just does not have cameras. I did a stupid method where I pulled a few from the boxes, as they pop right out and concealed. I think it's not horrible as other boxes were missing pairs as well. I used a shirt to cover removing them, and I used the same shirt to block the concealment. I think it's mostly not visible if there happen to be hidden cameras (there are likely not).

I went to 10 different malls yesterday within a 60ish mile radius. All the abercrombie locations are quite different from each other but they seem to have no cameras compared to abercrombie and fitch and hollister. Maybe since it's a kids store they assume child shoplifters are easier to spot.

And when you walk out. Make sure you’re walking out with other customers too.

Then it won’t be pinpointed that it’s you? Lol

But for underwear’s. I thought you can just go into dress room and put them all on top of each other then walk out lol.

But my technique is to go in there with a different shipping bag. Like Express for an example. Then throw in Items that aren’t tagged.

Or I’ll grab like 15 stuff and go to dressing room and take like 4 or 5. All in the dressing bag of course ;)

#youre a grill? XD jkjk
