College bookstores

Submitted by Azballer97 in Shoplifting

Getting ready to go back to school and there are a couple of independent bookstores around my campus. Thinking of trying to steal my textbooks from those stores (don’t think it is a good idea to steal from the university bookstores). Any ideas?

Go in with a backpack and clean them out. Sell the books for a fraction of the price. They deserve it charging poor college kids out the ass.

I pirated all my books for university. One person would find it and just pass a usb drive around.

Yeah, textbooks are the only thing I've ever gotten those stupid cease and desist letters for. They seem to be pretty on top of it.

Can't remember, might have been through my ISP? But yeah I would just download from wherever I could find it, so usually either piratebay or a random direct download.

I just ignore them anyway, they don't do shit.

My book store requires students to leave backpacks outside. However, I conceal books in my jacket. Very limited cameras, lots of blind spots. Like hell im gonna pay for overpriced books. I sometimes give them away to students that need them as well.

Go in with a backpack and act normally, you'll look like a normal student. Check between the pages for RFID and if they have a cover check under there too, but don't act suspicious or look suspicious. If they don't have scanners completely ignore part 2. Otherwise you can stuff so many damn books in your bag and you won't have to pay 2 grand for some books.
