Awesome. So tempted to use my “one time” to do this for a high ticket item.

It doesn't have to be a one time. just bag it up. what is it?

A gaming console. Too big to conceal. By bag it up, do you mean with a backpack?

Absolutely with a backpack. If your careful they wont catch you. I walked in with a suitcase several times, not stealing, just seeing if they'd say anything. they didn't. they said come again on my way out.

Edit: ive probably bagged a gaming console about 6 or 7 times at best buy. I sell them tho.

How about just using a backpack that they have there?

I wouldn't do that method. One of the security guards is rooted to the door so he may notice. and i used a faraday bag (booster bag) that was in my backpack so i took it spider wrap and all.

Im not an expert in that method tho. Lurkerz is an expert in the use a store backpack method. You should ask him. Im just telling you what worked for me. i hid the console in a refrigerator because there was a blind spot over in that section, and id bag it up the next day.

That's true. Might look into a faraday bag myself. I just barely got my detachers.

Ive walked out on a couple occasions with alarms going off and employees yelling at me to stop. I ignored and i was fine. they wont app you for that.

2

Drshoplifter wrote

It doesn't even matter if the alarm goes off really. they have to see you steal to app you and the alarm is just a deterrent. this goes for every store. If security at best buy asks you to stop. DONT. I promise they are hands off and no chase, I have done a lot of research.

I see, that's good to know. Thanks! So basically if they don't actually see you steal, they have nothing on you?

2

Drshoplifter wrote

Correct. They alarm means nothing. I promise.

Theyll ask you to stop tho and try to scare you if it goes off. but no store is going to detain you physically over it.
