Varies from store to store. My local one was a cake walk. They actually stared keeping the AirPods in the back because of me. Lel

The difficulty varies from store to store. I've lifted airpods, speakers, SSDs and more from Apple stores before but there was once a weird case.

I was holding airpods in my hand (haven't concealed yet) and I got a phone call while answering one of the staff members asked me if I was going to pay for it. I just said no and walked out.

I don't recommend trying to lift Apple TVs though since that's one of their most common devices. However, depending on the time of day you go, it might be easy depending on your skill level.

Did he see you steal it and not do anything? Have you been able to get out some of the $300 plus ssd and speakers or just the cheaper ones?

I got caught stealing there once (I wanted a USB to LAN converter), but high-tailed it out of there before security or police could stop me. I think it's doable; I was just a bit obvious.

Where I was they just stick the magnetic strip on the side of the box, and it's not hard to take it off.

Ive never hit the apple store. I do better in big stores. apple store is crowded and it'd be hard. However a lot of people have bags there so you would be fine having a bag. Id go during a slower time of day. preferably when the off duty cop isn't there

I wouldnt risk it. Apple is kinda high-end so they prolly have a lot of security.
