No they won't and they can't no worries. What is a girl doing ripping off a $55 dolly?

We falling on some really bad financial times and I have shoplifted everything from steak, salmon to spices, makeup I'm pretty much anything small that I could slip in my bag that I don't need to pay for. I think I started doing it just out of fear of not having things for a while although there were some days where I would take an extra steak or so whatever I could conceal just to make sure we had food

Remember anything on the pharmacy aisle are really easy to steal and can be sold for a nice profit. Tylenol razor blades etc

I had to move a driver up two flights of steps and I really didn't want to waste $55 just in case they wouldn't take the return the next day and at the self-checkout line the lady was not paying attention so I paid for what was in my hands and just grabbed the dolly and walked out and nobody really noticed

What is the one thing that people who get caught have in common?

1

Drshoplifter wrote

They don’t pay attention to cameras and do things that attract attention.

The looking around is what gives you away for me. You need to act like your shopping with your body language. Even if you have a bag, i may watch for a minute, but if i think your just shopping ill move on. You should hit the loss prevention sub. all kinds of good details in there. Ill post a link to a good thread hang on.

So in your experience working LP at WalMart, your shift would be over around 10pm? The “safest” time to lift would be after that time? Also, how many of you were there?

1

Drshoplifter wrote

Definitely just one of me there. and yes i was gone by 10 and its VERY hard to find a store who has security past about midnight. Id call and pretend to apply to get their shift times.

I live in dallas. and theres a store in arlington thats in a bad neighborhood and VERY busy even after 11. I bet they have overnight security. dont go to one of those.

I see. There are some sketchy wal marts, but I think the majority in my town are pretty calm. I always thought going late at night would be too obious/harder. But hey, without LP??
