Tools. All freaking hand tools. I'd care if it's a screwdriver, don't walk out that's store with the packaging. Dump it in a garbage can before walking out

Tagged with an alarm, or tagged to a store?

Vornados and nest products are sourced tagged

I dont think Nest is source tag you must have just missed one that the store put on itself....cause I've lifted about 7 Nest Thermostat E and 3 Thermostat Gen 3 none of which beeped.

Your gates are busted bc I've also lifted a few and the one I opened had a source tag and the ones I returned beeped at the next store I returned them too. Thermostats are for sure tagged as well as the cams

Barnes and Nobles will source tag books. I have found from my experience most manga, new releases, hardbacks, or any other special editions will be source tagged. Sometimes flipping thru you can find the tag but sometimes it will be stuck inbetween the dust cover and the book. You can sometimes test the items but going to the bathroom or going to the music section (RIP) but sometimes those alarms arent even functioning and just act as a visual deterrent.

Items can and will be source tagged and still have spider wrap/alpha box/etc etc etc, it's just good to know as not to get hit with the unexpected alarm when trying to exit.

Crest 3DWhite Strips aren't source tagged despite having the "theft package" deterrent warning on the box. Some have a store id printed on the plastic but can be easily removed by rubbing with a coin similar to rubbing off a lottery ticket.

Dyson products are never source tagged and some even come with built in handles on the box!!!!

Dremel are definitely source tagged. You can tell because it says “and I theft package” on the box. I took one completely out of its box and the alarm went off. The tag was on the electrical cord when I found it in my car in the parking lot.

If we can get a long enough list, sure, I'll compile the answers and sticky it.
