Yeah I would've keep walking because now you basically just admitted your a shoplifter so good luck not being watch there now and secondly but this is just my personal thing is once I make that commitment to leave the store whether it be walkout, concealed items, using old store bags etc no matter what happens I'm going out those doors with my stuff no matter what and I wont even glance behind me once. I think this is why I've had much success even while beeping as I exit the store holding product right in the open, cause as I exit I have a average walking pace, head up, make eye contact if anyone looks at me,and dont even halfway look back. Therefore as a store employee or another customer you're almost always gonna assume I bought it because they perceive a lifter running and fast walking looking back all nervous, yes it's not foolproof but definitely a great approach.

If he was suspected of lifting wouldn't he be watched anyway?

I really doubt they were into me. I did this at a time when I knew there was no one to watch the cameras, and in a location with no cameras visible. I took a GOOD look before and as I was bagging up. The lady saw me bypass the last point of sale with a full reusable bag and asked me to pay for it. It was full when I came in tho, and zipped up when I entered and attempted to leave.

To quote from Drshoplifter:

they could not have stopped you nor could they call the police if you were not on camera when you concealed
