Can anyone here think of a safe way to steal things behind the counter?

Submitted by Drshoplifter in Shoplifting

Ive been wanting to come up with a good way to do this, simply because a lot of members ask about it and i want to try it myself. My idea so far is to pick open the lock and hide the merchandise in a blind spot to pick it up later. I would also watch the cameras as i approach the locked cabinet to make sure they aren't moving in the dome to follow me, that can save you I have found. Does anyone have any tips or other ideas?

No real safe way. No safe way around a spot that’s always monitored. Imagine if every store had a permanent LPO assigned to each section of the store. You wouldn’t be able to lift anything ever

NO safeway, there are always cameras and and employee in that area? what store are you trying to steal from? something like walgreens, is not possible. walmart have some unattended counters, like the cards section.

Walmart. I could investigate and find out when there wont be security at that particular store. make friends with employees, pretend to apply, etc. then open the case and walk out

Long term social engineering is one hell of a commitment to a lift haha but if you got the skills you can definitely pull stuff like this off which I’m sure you have in the past

I did a walk out like this once but never broke into a display case. I got out of there with5 computer towers and a tv I wanted for my room. Problem is I can never show my face there again.
