If I actually observed him removing the tags I’d ban. He won’t be back tho... unless he’s an idiot. Lol.

Nobody saw him detagging and staging but I figured he would be back to claim his haul. He’s probably an amateur considering he went to our only actual blind spot, most lifters in our store are bold and would detag or conceal right in front of the cameras (most of them don’t come back for a while though)

the ones that dont come back for a while, and detag, are probably the smart ones. the greedy ones always come back. Theres a reason why i dont "conceal" in a blindspot, then conceal in another area, and come back too many chances to get caught. I usually conceal and leave asap. lifting in front of a camera is brazen, you almost always alert employees or lp that way, ive done it, and ive had several instances of them baiting me.

You can ban him without apprehending him. He may claim you profiled him as a thief tho so it’s something to be careful with.

Edit: when I did lp I’d leave a note where he staged the merchandise, and I’d put the merch back. It’d deter them from coming back, at least with intent to steal it seems.

This is actually a funny and good idea, maybe every time I find something staged I’ll replace it with a post it note with a smiley drawn on it or something. Haha

Sorry I locked this by mistake I think. Ya I just say I watched them stage it and know what they’re up to. Put a smiley face on it.
