Is it stupid to steal for money?

Submitted by Drshoplifter in Shoplifting (edited )

I’ve heard people say that it’s stupid to do that because eventually you will get caught, but I’ve stolen probably 200 or 300 times over the past few years and never been caught. I always use very safe methods tho, like burying the targeted item under other merchandise in a basket, then concealing in a blind spot. Or staging the item in the blind spot and come back at least 9 hours later. I always use a booster bag now so I don’t have to leave tags behind. And make sure no one is close to my blind spot when I go in for the kill. What do you think? Is that safe?

Well, if the cops search your home and you have a ton of lifted shit then you can say bye to it. Best to store it away from the home to be safe. Note: the cops might do you for ORC, so another reason to stash it (and maybe your hardrive if you're selling a load online).

Most lifters lift for money; hell I suspect alot of crap on eBay is stolen.

same goes for amazon, how does a shipper has something in bulk and sells up for markup. some are stolen directly from the truck, or from the store, but they usually get caught.

at first i thought you said stealing money, that would be different form shoplifting. its not stupid if you are doing it carefully.

Booster bag with foil? How many layers?

by the way your very safe with that stuff. just one layer will work i have found. this is for all the lifters who see this. titan faraday material is what i use and it works very well. you can get it on amazon.com. for your safety however i recommend as many layers as you can come up with. i chose 4. some stores have towers that give off very strong signals to try to beat booster bags and you need to be prepared.

Nice. So you make a bag from the material? This probably works for rfid tags, but what about spider tags, or any hard plastic tags? Have you tried it with these?

Finally, do you leave the top of the bag open when you walk out? Was thinking the gates can detect them.

With simple rf tags the bag can be slightly open at the top. For tags like spider wrap it needs to be closed. I always close it by folding the top over a couple times and putting a clip on it. Like a bag of chips. Just close it with any tag. Unless you’re gonna keep walking if the alarm goes off.

Just use 4 layers. I only tested with one layer one time on spider wrap. I know 4 layers have worked every time so far. Don’t take risks.

its rfid blocking material from amazon. 4 layers. they can't physically detain you just for the alarm anyway. one time it went off but i got scared and pepper sprayed management and ran. i wasn't using a booster bag then tho.
