Target alarm went off

Submitted by Stealingisfun6669 in Shoplifting

I lifted some yugioh blister packs (the booster pack sealed within the cardboard box with plastic over the pack itself) I checked all over and inside the packaging and couldn't find anything, Idk why the alarm went off. It only went off for like 2 seconds and then randomly stopped in the middle of a beep like it got cut off or something? Any ideas?

Also stealing cards is stupid, you can get good cheap counterfeits on the darknet for sale or play. Just don't show up with a $1000 deck and expect no one to notice.

Interesting. Used to have a guy on the (closed) lifting sub, and he was saying how he used the money he made from lifting to buy stuff off the dark net to resell.

If you really checked as well as you said, you might wanna check what you were carrying. Any magnets? Lots of metal? Maybe provide pics of the packaging?

Some of the packs have blank white cards in them with a sensor that is deactivated when the employee scans the cards. From what i've seen it is in random packs which is kind of retarded...

The blank white cards in yugioh packs are cards that didn't get printed. It's a misprint. I don't think it's a sensor

Nah it is a sensor, they are plastic and have a raised bump on the bottom that set the sensor off.
