Anarchism is alright, but have you ever tried bandwagon cancel culture? Hate breeds a lot more haters than any single ideology can pick up supporters.

I think cancel culture is a purely reactionary term that is used to protect abusers.

I originally said something mean in response (see the archive) but I decided to delete it. They're obviously a brand new baby anarchist and I should be nicer to ppl. I make too many lifelong enemies.

hopefully they come around.

In that vein, have you ever read anything by Chomsky where he replies to accusations that he is not an anarchist?

i wonder what they're referring to. i read Chomsky as a baby anarchist and can tell you dude is no longer an anarchist in any meaningful way

while his ideas about anarchism may not be great i find his analysis of geopolitics and the media to be really helpful. He is extremely adept at reading the media, comparing that to what actually happened, and analyzing why the media talks about things the way they do, and I think that is very valuable to anarchists and people who want to understand how to read the mainstream media in general. Personally I see the fact that Chomsky has labeled himself as "anarchist" as almost an afterthought.
