The perspectives are important for an anarchist critique for the evolution of civilization, but neither of them is anarchist, to begin with.

Both are incredibly humanistic just in opposite extremes sides of the spectrum -- but it still attempts to treat the individual as separate from nature -- anthropocentric ideas are what pushed our species into the situation we find ourselves in now.
