TL;DR: Author goes off on a tangent about how "income inequality is a myth" because goods, services, and knowledge once sold as commodities can now be acquired extremely cheaply, often times as gratis service (I.E. Wikipedia), and thus overall conditions of the workers with flat wage growth are better, and thus (somehow?) income inequality is a unicorn.
... but even if conditions are better for some, that doesn't change the fact that income inequality is growing and is not a myth. It's just fact, my fucking god, this guy's done some impressive mental gymnastics. It's completely incomprehensible how he made that leap.
