Moving this off Reddit and onto here. A lot of housing was being bought up by Chinese capitalists, and that purchasing has since slowed. Got a tip that there are neighborhoods in Bothell where a lot of the houses have been purchased by people who don't live here, and they're just sitting empty right now. You can tell because the lawns look like shit. In light of the housing crisis, and the fact that landlords are more likely to dangle an Amazon gift card in front of you before lowering the rent (despite over a quarter of the housing built being empty right now), I'm wondering if there's a squatting community in King County/Seattle, especially Seattle proper. Are people interested in scouting?
