There is certainly a need for a Kurdish forum, but I don't know that the struggle of Turkish Kurds is the same as the struggle of Syrian Kurds. It almost feels nationalistic just to group them together.

The PKK and YPG closely cooperated to birth the DFNS during the Syrian Revolution's start, and the Democratic Confederalist ideology was rooted in the PKK, which still cooperates in Rojava via the KCK, which more right wing groups like those in the KRG do not. I'd be plenty happy with a separate Kurdish forum, though. Is it possible you could make one? I try not to link to having actual accounts for obvious reasons. (Turkish secret police aren't friendly.)

But I also propose that if this is to refer to the DFNS that its not referred to as Rojava, since that brings forth the often-heard criticism of it being an ethnocentric nationstate, when in reality it is the furthest thing from it, incorporating Assyrians, Yazidis, Arabs, and more into decentralized communes and cantons. So, my proposal is that the sidebar at least becomes less specific than 'Rojava and YPG' since both are Kurdish terms and exclude the huge amount of Arabs working to build a new society in the DFNS.

You can make the forum and then remove yourself as mod, that's what I do.

Support improving the sidebar here. Write it up.

Proposed sidebar change; 'For all content on the Democratic Federation of Northern Syria.'

Keeps it short and simple like it is now whilst encompassing Arabs and Assyrians as well as other SDF militias.
