One of the twitter replies says these birds are just sold to be released to generate good karma, they’re trained to fly back to their ‘home’ which is wherever the seller keeps them.

I’m not a biologist but I think this would only be bad if they were domesticated and thus unable to fend for themselves, or—most importantly—being released into a foreign environment.

Love the energy though!

Yeah I couldn’t tell ya. I’m no good at theft but my friend stole a cat from petsmart once. Maybe a team effort involving some sort of distraction. Or flash mob!
