Honestly not really. I see nothing beneficial about Abrahamic religions. I don't see why people subject themselves to them, especially women.

Obviously indoctrination is one issue.

I have a friend who is literally in witness protection because she fled her islamic family and they are actively trying to kill her for it.

I'd imagine the same thing they get out of Christianity or Judaism. A sense of community, connection to their past and spiritual fulfillment. That also comes with the same risks of following Christianity, the risk of getting stuck with a bunch of authoritarian patriarchs who want you dead for being different. But I'm sure as hell not going to be pretentious enough to pretend the decision to stay religious while being gay is some alien, incomprehensible choice or that atheists treat LGBT people any better.
