I use a fully free GNU/Linux distribution. I run Libreboot to avoid Intel ME. I do not have a bank account, debit card, credit card, etc. If I must buy something online I buy a gift card and ask a friend to order it for me. I make a different email for everything I register for. I make up addresses when asked for them, along with names. I never put my legal name on anything, former or current. Even when ordering food I use a different name every time (to the confusion of some employees of a local cafe). I do not have an account on surveillance engines like Facebook or with Google. I pay my mobile phone's bill in cash by buying renewal cards from drug stores and frequently swap sim cards, phone numbers, and carriers. I keep my battery out of my phone as much as possible, and of course my mobile runs Replicant. I do not use "rewards" programs. I use full disk encryption on my laptop (including /boot). I never run proprietary JavaScript, I randomize my MAC address at boot, and I avoid using US hosted services. I automatically delete cookies, block trackers using uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger, I force SSL using HTTPS Everywhere. I almost always use Tor, spoof my user agent, use a mass amount of containers in Icecat, use youtube-dl to view any online video otherwise requiring proprietary JS (I used to use avideo until it was reapproved by the FSF). I randomize every password and make it as many characters as possible. I do not carry my ID (except while driving). I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of them right now.

Yes, I have. It still hits Google's servers, unfortunately. But it's better than YouTube.
