Activity like this convinces me that the only real solutions to privacy invasion in the technological era are in fact technological. The politicians can pass all of the laws they want, as long as it's profitable to track people corporations and intelligence agencies will track everything they can about every citizen, no matter what they say in public. So we need things like the Tor Project, encryption, and distributed, decentralized, and private communication, collaboration, sharing, and marketplace software.
