The Police's Online Patrol

The Police's Online Patrol has been created to strengthen the police force's digital presence so that, much like on the streets, citizens can engage directly with a police officer.

The Police will be patrolling on social media where it can enter into dialogue with children and young people in particular, prevent problematic behavior and crime, and intervene if the law is being broken.

The Police's Online Patrol has its own Facebook page where citizens can contact the patrol. In the coming time, the Police's Online Patrol will also be present on other media platforms.

You can contact the Police's Online Patrol through Messenger if you have a tip about suspicious behavior online or need advise about online safety.

If you want to report a crime, do so by calling 114, reporting crime on politi.dk, or contacting your local police by showing up in person. If there is an acute need, please call 112.

The Police's Online Patrol has been operating since April 2022 and is a part of the Police's multi-year agreement whose constituents agreed to establish a unit for patrolling digital spaces.
