So, you download Tor Browser, read about malicious JS and just to be safe, decide to disable it. Well, now you simply can't open some pages, they won't load or they will tell you to enable javascript. Suffer no more, an easy to bypass without having to enable javascript is to archive the page. Using Archive.is (archivecaslytosk.onion) you can actually see the page without having to load the javascript, and even if the page is not saved, you can, using Tor and with JS disabled, save a snapshot of the page there and view it.

Good tip!

Also great if you dont want to give the site ad revenue or S*O benefits by backlinks!

this mirror requires javascript to load a google reCAPTCHA to access it at all. how does this help someone without JS?

It doesn't for me, that's weird. Are you using Tor Browser?

yes, i think it has the .onion and all exit nodes flagged as requiring CAPTCHA.

It could be due to your headers. Some time ago cloudfare opened exceptions to people with default tor browser: https://www.zdnet.com/article/cloudflare-ends-captcha-challenges-for-tor-users/

If you're using an older version of TBB or something else that would make you stand out from most users you will be captcha-ed. And just to be clear: I also face a captcha when opening the main link, the onion mirror works fine trough.

Actually recorded myself while trying and it worked fine: https://im2.ezgif.com/tmp/ezgif-2-16d85747d0a8.gif (sorry if it ends suddenly, was feeling too lazy to actually find a site to upload that allowed you to view without downloading and decided to just convert to a gif online, but alas, it had a limit in time. If you can't see because it changes too fast, I opened about:config to show JS disabled).
