Things are getting very tight when it comes to privacy. it very hard to establish any in daily life.

Is anyone interested in developing a personal OPSEC or already have one in place? It's very important and also people will need other with like minds to do business with.

Things are really bad now. The most important things are social, professional and financial privacy. If these aren't secured your livelihood is vulnerable and some idiot might try to take control of your life.

Cryptocurrency is probably the best way to protect your financial privacy. Using social websites like this one is good for social privacy. I'm still not sure about business life. Most of society won't do business with you outside of traditional financial networks. Do you have any ideas?

I'd argue that as for financial privacy cash is still the best option at the moment.

In terms of social privacy I'm actually more concerned about internet tracking and also communications in general.

You're right that business is hard. If you're really serious about it you would only do "under-the-table" labor, getting paid in cash. But that's very difficult to make viable except maybe with very risky endeavors like selling drugs. I'd expect that in many countries (at least it's true in mine) owning real estate is in the public record, so even if you're a self sufficient type living off you land you'd be in the public record.

I think "anonymity" is much different from "privacy" though. With privacy I'm more just concerned about profit-driven corporations and states knowing things about me I don't want them to. You make a good point about finance though, I should probably use cash more.

EDIT: I will just say that I do care about separating my legal identity from my online identity and making the latter more anonymous. But I'm not sure it's really possible to anonymize your legal identity without going to ridiculous ends. Certainly people have done it, but I'm not sure it's really worth it.

I agree that cash is best for privacy if you're not doing remote payments. Sending cash via mail isn't a good idea. Cryptocurrency is the only alternative I know.

All digital communications that's not encrypted independently by the sender should be considered unsafe. Do you have any ideas for attacking this problem in a way that would make communications in this online community safe? I mean things like voip and messaging communications outside of protected sites like this one.

Probably a directory of privacy conscience businesses would be nice.

No stupid stuff would be allowed but it need to be like the hidden wiki, and not monitored by some bias idiot. Still no immoral business allowed can be enforced by the community.

This would allow people to make business connections with like minded individuals.
