This writer's a fucking creep. Her and William Gillis should team up to kill all the bad people with the bad brains.

Sounds like two notorious sociopaths eliminating all their competition.

At least Gillis says something amusing on occasion. This article peaked with the ironic and amusing intro and then proceeded to say absolutely fucking nothing. Apparently awareness of the sociopaths lies will save all us good people. Funny. That’s almost as simple as “Oh, well just stop.” So what was the point of this text again???

I agree, it just reminded me of that Bad People essay of his that was critiqued on anews.

I was thinking the same.

The fact that this type of shit thinking is associated with anarchism is sad.

Why do you say that?

Say what you will about the problems with proletariat versus bourgeoisie, black versus white, colonized versus colonizer, woman versus man; it's a hell of a lot better than empaths versus psychopaths. It's like they only took the worst tendency from those other dichotomies, the individuating pathologizing morality. The problem isn't systems started thousands or hundreds of years ago - capitalism, civilization, patriarchy, racism - it's a few bad brains! Non-functioning empathy-centers!

The implications of this kind of framework are monstrous (anti-Semitic conspiracy type shit being the obvious one). Like, it totally takes all complicity off of everyone and places it on a few othered & pathologized people.

If even a few of us are manipulative psychopaths (of course we know it’s not a few, there are millions of them all across the world, and they permeate all layers of society, including in places where they benefit the rest of us), then no I believe that is a problem with human nature. If we can’t accept that we are variable enough to produce the most selfless heroes and the most wretched torturers, then we will simply repeat the same mistakes again and again
