How will the community on Raddle differentiate from reddit in terms of rules, moderation, etc...? Will the exact same content that is allowed/not allowed be the same? If not, what will be different?

Also, wouldn't mind hearing your opinions/views on the path you would like to see this community go.

Less paranoia and more leeway in posting random links to sites (at their root, not at direct downloads), but otherwise I expect things to stay mostly the same for the sake of discussion.

I'm not sure I follow, what exactly would you do differently?

r/piracy was becoming r/cracksupport. And when is [movie] coming out? I understand piracy includes games, and needs troubleshooting as does all forms of piracy. But there is very well established community for gamers. But all the answers to these 2 questions are always the same. Go to steamunderground/cn Go to bluray.com That's my main rant about the reddit one. And also about links. I understand and agree that links directly to content should not be allowed. Simply for the fact that it would become a request board. But is linking to the homepage considered violation? I know you can say rarbg, but could I link to the offical homepage, or mirror?

You can link to the home page for like torrent sites. But I think we should avoid linking to streaming sites altogether since that's what took down r/piracy.

I'd say more leeway considering raddle isn't beholden to any corporate overlords, but most of the same rules probably still apply.

I'd like to see something like this for cracked software.
