Submitted by Mushgal in Piracy

I downloaded a blu-ray and now I can't play it properly.

VLC plays like 10 seconds of the .m2ts and then the video stops (the audio doesn't). I have the libaacs.dll, I downloaded it a while ago to play another bluray download, and that time it worked, but this time it doesn't.

I've googled up this question and I found MPC-HC. It plays the movie, but very slowly and laggy.

So, do any of you have a better suggestion?

Thanks beforehand.

Download a ripped version in a common format, like mkv or mp4. Blu-ray is deliberate obtuse, new decoders are released frequently to avoid piracy of new movies.

If you don't want to do that, you can instead use MakeMKV to convert your already-downloaded blu-ray into an mkv file.
