It will be interesting to see how well, or not, that this works. In any event, the effort will be of historical interest to people opposing prohibition.

Incredible. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out. Amazing how he has prepared a legal team to fight the drug laws in advance of being shut down. Must applaud strategy wherever it shows up in activism. Not every day you see this level of strategy. Bless this man (and all those unnamed who are a part of this project).

Hopefully, in future, we will have a larger space, so that we can have a comfortable library as well as a computer terminal for 3-7 spaces, as well as space for artistic activities like screen printing and bookbinding, as well as scientific activities and laboratory space. Right now, we need to attain a higher degree of donations, to obtain the space needed. Once we have the space needed, we can start creating a real community center. For now, we are a tiny library, inside a capitalist office building targeted at creative and small time professionals like tattoo artists et al. Our shelves are packed to the brim, and our space is crammed with donations. many are first or second edition items from the priceless In Other Words collection, which we absorbed. Other treasures come to us from our contacts in New York, Portland, Seattle, and other areas.

If you have means, please consider donating to us on an ongoing basis at patreon.com/anarresinfoshop, or contact us for more special accomodations for donors who require or prefer privacy. We will use these resources to open a bigger space, which can sustainably introduce people to anarchy, and give people the means to educate and empower themselves with access to education and knowledge and technology that assists both.

If you wish to send us materials by package, rather than envelope, consider contacting us first so we can give you our private mailbox. That is bigger, and can accomodate packages as well as envelopes. Otherwise, your mail may be returned to sender. We have had many generous private anarchist collectors and foundations contact us, with donations of packages, so please let us know in advance if you need package handling accomodations!

I know this will be...controversial, in this sort of online space (lol), but please don't come by if you aren't vaccinated for the plague thing that has been going on the last two years or so

I don't think this is really controversial here. It is a person's choice, both to be vaccinated and to choose who to allow into your personal space. There are social consequences for the choices we make.

I personally find the information coming from random doctors/scientists to be more compelling than random poorly designed websites backed by corporate interests.

You can also send us an email at [email protected]

and if some of you throw a stink, we could come up with some more encrypted super-special option. Or, you know, a doorbell. Amazon Ring, of course! Hyah!!!!!! Yeah, just kidding. But for now, this is what we got. Sorry, I know it's clunky. It's all we could afford, was this tiny little closet >:(

Oh, important: in order to get in, shoot us a text message (971 270 0174), we will watch our messages during our open hours. The building isn't accessible from the outside, and technically is kind of an office space, so uh...pretend like you'e a, you know, a business consultant, or someone with an appointment. A very serious appointment. Hyah!

If you check out the tweet I put in f/anarchism in that thread the poster says they'll update with location and time eventually, so that's probably the best place to look for updates.

It's a specific example I saw in Veracruz. I have photographs.

the photos only show 4m of forest replaced with corn. what about the other billions of meters surrounding it that paint the true picture of civilization? civilization isn't an isolated corn field, it's ten million corn fields and ten thousand cities and a rapidly encroaching desert.
