You can't tell me a giant meteor hitting the Yellowstone supervolcano and the literal rapture wouldn't be ideal compared to what we have now.

Someone else get's it! Everyone usually looks at me like something is wrong with me... I don't think I'm capable of making any of this happen so I'm not sure what their problem is.

I'm not sure what they're problem is.

People take any criticism of their consumption and the consequences of that consumption more seriously and personally than they should. And the more vile ones will pretend to take up causes that they don't believe in or even oppose.

"There are plenty of reasons for why we should, at the very least, reduce our meat consumption, first-"

"You want us all to go vegan?! How dare you?! Don't you know indigenous people and the poor need that meat to survive?!"

"You're not indigenous, though. Or poor. You're a US suburbanite."

so tiring to watch people get defensive when you didn’t actually tell them or try to convince them to do anything.

Can't find fault with that. Upholding and living by standards made by people long dead that harm me and everyone around me is far more important than long-term self-preservation.
