Robber of the Rich 1R

Creature — Human Archer Rogue (M)

Reach, haste

Whenever Robber of the Rich attacks, if defending player has more cards in hand than you, exile the top card of their library. During any turn you attacked with a Rogue, you may cast that card and you may spend mana as though it were mana of any color to cast that spell.

2/2

Continuing the tradition of posting the most "radical" spoilers, this seemed appropriate.

I'm not particularly digging the whole attempt at hitting specific tropes from fairy tales and English legends so a lot of the cards are falling flat for me. The few of those that do interest me are the ones who do something mechanically interesting with the otherwise bland concept and this falls into that category. Although I think it'd be perfectly fine if it wasn't an Archer. That's a bit too cute for me.

This card is pretty powerful as well. Two mana 2/2s with Haste are generally pretty powerful and this has additional upsides that can help a Red deck with the late game.
