unrelated but i find some furry stuff cool, pretty fucking nasty how so many people decide to direct all their hate towards such a wide group of ppl and content just because the internet told them it's cringe and weird

I'm not into or opposed to furry culture at all. I try to judge each piece of content or subculture as i encounter it on its own merits.

I'm in this picture and I love it. My thinkpad is sitting right next to me compiling Gentoo shit.

ahah. I got my first Thinkpad a few days ago, I'm really happy about it. I just use arch with bspwm. Gentoo takes too much time to compile :/

Tiling WMs for the win! Personally I'm a StumpWM / EXWM guy (because lisp), but bspwm is really good, I tried it out about a year ago when I was looking for a new WM, but I ended up going with StumpWM.

I have a 2012 macbook with the option to boot linux mint, probably going to upgrade soon, but 10 years of life out of a computer i got for about $150 is pretty good if you ask me, the main issues I'm facing is just how much the internet user experience has crumbled. Im starting to wonder if im going crazy whenever i go online and just struggle to enjoy browsing. Is it me or is 99 percent of the internet almost un-useable

You only see a really small blip of the internet. So it's hard to know even what 1% is like. So since it's so large it's as nice as you cultivate it. My internet experience is actually great as I choose and dictate what I look at and what spaces I interact in rather than just doing what's normal. If u use the internet like the average person it's probably a fucking awful experience

Technically the people who spend their time online only watching bland Netflix series in 4k get to see a bigger blip of the internet than average
