I have a 2012 macbook with the option to boot linux mint, probably going to upgrade soon, but 10 years of life out of a computer i got for about $150 is pretty good if you ask me, the main issues I'm facing is just how much the internet user experience has crumbled. Im starting to wonder if im going crazy whenever i go online and just struggle to enjoy browsing. Is it me or is 99 percent of the internet almost un-useable

You only see a really small blip of the internet. So it's hard to know even what 1% is like. So since it's so large it's as nice as you cultivate it. My internet experience is actually great as I choose and dictate what I look at and what spaces I interact in rather than just doing what's normal. If u use the internet like the average person it's probably a fucking awful experience

Technically the people who spend their time online only watching bland Netflix series in 4k get to see a bigger blip of the internet than average
