Red-and-black Jewish anarchists: I’m seeking a few more written pieces for my edited anthology, “There Is Nothing So Whole as a Broken Heart.”

Specifically, I want stories that focus on present-day practices that illuminate the ways that anarchist (and especially feminist/queer anarchistic) Jews are aspiring to lessen losses/suffering and mend the world. Examples include cultural projects like making our own zines, calendars, art, Purim plays, shuls, candles, podcasts, healing arts, and other radically awesome DIY materials and spaces, AND do-it-ourselves political organizing like anti-ICE/anti-detention/anti-border+ direct actions, Jew blocs in demos, Jewish ritual as blockade, solidarity efforts, and so on.

Kindly privately message or email me (cbmilstein [at] yahoo) if you’d like to propose something along these lines.

I’m looking, in particular, for folx directly involved in these cultural and/or political projects who are also beautiful writers/thinkers, and can offer explicit or implicit reflections on the power of bringing anarchism + Judaism together at this historical moment, or why the affinity, or what’s novel about Jewish anarchist practices today.

Please feel free to share this with (or tag here!) other anarchistic Jews you know or who you think would be a good fit.
