I walked in there expecting to just daydream about picking up those Coach wallets but I walked out with multiple $150 wallets and a couple $120 sweaters! There were no tags or cameras!! Seemed like a ridiculously expensive store to not have tags or any cameras that I could see! I went to the other side away from the wallets/purses and blatantly scanned the ceiling above the wallets/purses and there was absolutely nothing. I was appalled. I wish I had visited that store first cause I was already carrying lifted items from another store and I could have picked up wayyyy more Coach items.

Any and all stores differ from one another. Don't get cocky.

You're right!! I felt like I was being 30x more careful just because it felt too easy. I was like, Okay, are we SURE there's no cameras? Like are we SURE???? lol

I wonder about this too where I love it's in abundance so I often get paranoid. Has anyone heard of hidden smaller cams ever? Is that legal/illegal in certain states? I check on glassdoor and other similar sites to see who's hiring for LP and AP but hasn't been very helpful. Anyway good job on the haul, epic af ;)

Thanks! Haven't heard of those smaller cams, but wouldn't be surprised if I was caught on one because there is no reason it should have been that easy lmao

I used to steal from there like 10 years ago and it was so easy. like I got prom dresses and everything. most recently they've got LP creeps following you around. I still think like late at night near closing they might not care. it used to be so damn easy!

I dont like it because its like nestled deep into my JC penny, HOWEVER i've gotten two huda palettes twice because the employees were dumb as fuck about the products they have so I just kept talking to them about sunday riley blah blah blah and they never suspected.

Former employee. My store didn’t prosecute lifters because it would cost more than the loss (bc of insurance). If you got Out the door they’d act like they were taking tag down but didn’t actually do it. If you got caught, they’d get the mercy back and tell you not to come back but didn’t call police. There was only one store security officer on duty at a time.

Cameras were actively monitored but half the camera room people didn’t care. If you were Sussex they’d customer service you to death and if you were seen concealing, they’d call a bunch of managers to just hang around in the area to try to get you to leave.
