Caught after a grocery store walkout. It was right by my school and I had been grabbing small items for lunch and doing walkouts frequently. Unfortunately my hubris told me I was good and I walked out with my items in hand and sat right outside the store to eat. Manager came out and asked if I had paid, as someone said they didn't see me, asked if I had used the self-checkout, asked for receipt, I pretended to fumble in my bag for it, then asked what happens if I can't find it. He said he can check the cameras, then went inside to do so. I bolted.
Would boost Burberry shirts from Bloomingdale's probably had ripped off 20 or more and sold them for $125..Womens shirt concealed in men's dressing room. Thought I had made it out but was tackled from behind.
Please consider deleting these. For your own good. I post about my shit, but I've been retired for a period exceeding statute of limitations.
Just a polite request/warning.
Yes I agree
Doing a lift while highly stressed and bad strat. Pushing through customers while acting like a stressed shopper. Using a stroller, with a kid in it but still.
Stroller is a popular method but it's an obvious lookout for LP (imo). At least for my family, who are small business owners. My mother would tell me about people with strollers and often that would be used to shoplift.
I agree the stroller person would be watched because they have the concealment method. Same idea with bulky hoodies, large purse, backpack, etc. Also parenting is expensive.
When they were in to you at Ultra were you able to still ripoff the items you wanted or did you dump?
never stopped, but was at walmart. concealed (i thought so) a few lipsticks in my old blind spot in the pet aisle.
heard on the intercoms "associate to ..." the dept i was at. moved depts to womens clothing, which was next to the jewerly counter. nobody else was there, heard "associate to jewerly". dumped my shit on camera and left. never had an issue after that
