Whats so bad about lifting multiple of the same item? Does it show up as a huge red flag when checking inventory? Forgive me because im clueless about some of this shit.

Easier to spot as gone. The shelf has to get refilled eventually and if it doesn't get refilled but is empty someone will know what's up. It also pushes off store employees when you get greedy vs opportunity theft
